Comic-Con Saturday

As I type this, Sony's presentation of The Fog (among other upcoming movies) should be underway at the San Diego Comic-Con; I'm not expecting anything huge to be unveiled about the movie, but if Sony stays true to form there will have probably been a teaser trailer and a clip or two. Whether or not those will make it online is anyone's guess, but in lieu of that there should be some reports from the event available in the next few hours.

However it's now past midnight in the good ol' United Kingdom, and whilst I am expecting a report or two once the presentation is over – in an hour or two, give or take my ability to do accurate math – I don't think I can stay awake! I've done all-nighters many times on behalf of this website, and I was highly tempted to try again this time; however my eyelids are currently propped open with hydraulic lifts, and my feet have already gone to sleep. That situation isn't conducive to writing anything sensible!

If you attended The Fog's panel this afternoon and would like to share your recollection of what was shown and said, please drop a message in my inbox. I'll get back to you once I've woken up in a few hours, and I'll publish your story as soon as I'm conscious enough to do so. Ah, Sunday's ...

Once the Comic-Con weekend is over I have every intention of taking a few days off website duty to get some rest and relaxation. If nothing else I want to make an effort to recharge my batteries for the guaranteed-to-be-busy upcoming months:

Smallville is back on TV screens in September, with its 100th episode celebrations likely to take place in January or early February of next year; The Fog will be hitting cinemas in October; Cheaper By The Dozen 2 is likely to be released in the spring or early summer of 2006; and Tom will quite likely be making the promotional rounds on behalf of all of them ...

I'm exhausting myself just thinking about it! There are days when I really wish I could be a Duracell Bunny.
