Oh Trailer, Where Art Thou?

Mon July 18th 2005 @ 6:33AM - James - Tom Welling - 6 Comments

During Saturday's panel at Comic-Con, it was revealed that The Fog's teaser trailer should be released within the next five to ten days; however no other details were given, so the exact time and place is still a mystery. As expected the trailer was premiered during the panel, and by all accounts it was pretty intriguing - though it was lacking in the Tom department, as most things seem to be at the moment. A very brief clip of Tom lying in bed with Maggie Grace was just about the only thing of note, seemingly. I'm questioning whether this bodes well ....

I can't understand why the star of a movie barely appears on its trailer. It's all really weird: the lack on info and images, and above all, the lack of Tom. What's going on? I'm very confused about this whole Fog thing!

Thanks for the heads-up James.

Maybe it was just a teaser and there will be more of Tom in the final trailer? He has top billing, and it's been proven that young women are the core audience for PG-13 horror film's ... so wouldn't it make sense to push the only reason a woman would even go see the movie? It makes no sense not to.

This is weird, Tom is one of the main characters. Ah well, I just can't wait to finally see the trailer.

I think it was probably just a teaser. In the Batman Begins teaser they didn't show much of Christian Bale, who of course was the main character. :)

I hope that they put more of Tom in the trailer, 'cause I believe he's mainly what everyone's looking for - at least he's who I'm looking for! I just can't wait to get a glimpse of of him.

Sadly, the reason why there may be more of Maggie in the trailer than Tom is because Lost is much more popular than Smallville. She's more recognizable and probably has more drawing power.
