'Promise' Trailer

Fri February 23rd 2007 @ 4:02PM - James - Tom Welling - 4 Comments

Thanks to Steve, here is a short teaser trailer for the next new Smallville episode, 'Promise', which airs in three weeks, on March 15th.

I also apparently forgot to post up the trailers for last week's episode, 'Freak', and although I thought it was a bit late to post them now, I was asked if I would - and how could I refuse? So here's the standard 'Freak' trailer, and here's the extended trailer.

'Freak' Screen Captures

Fri February 16th 2007 @ 11:55PM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment

I'm still way behind on a lot of things, but thankfully I managed to get the screen captures uploaded fairly quickly this week!

This week's episode of Smallville, 'Freak', was directed by Michael Rosenbaum, and I felt he did a great job. Besides, Michael seems to know how to shoot both Tom and himself in a very flattering light – literally – and that's always good.

So, here are 597 screen captures from this week's episode. Enjoy!

I hope to have more free time to make updates soon, and I'd like to thank everyone who has continued to visit while the site has been so quiet.

'Trespass' Screen Captures

Mon February 12th 2007 @ 7:33AM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments

My apologies for the lack of updates, again. Thankfully (for me, although it makes for a very uninteresting news page) there hasn't been any major news about Tom, aside from the Smallville episodes, for quite a few weeks.

So, carrying on the theme of Smallville episodes, here are screen captures from last Thursday's episode, 'Trespass'. Tom wasn't in this episode as much as I would have liked, but it was understandable considering how much work he did on the previous two episodes.

Unfortunately, where the news has been quiet, I've been bogged down with one thing or another: I'm still working on a major update to the site, which will take up a lot of my time over the coming weeks or possibly months, but which, when finished, will automate much of the site so that I can step away for a week or two without worrying that the site will be completely dead; and on top of that it's the time of year when viruses have a nasty habit of considering me a good home. Repeatedly.

'Crimson' Screen Captures

Sat February 3rd 2007 @ 12:41AM - James - Tom Welling - 3 Comments

'Crimson' was very interesting. Not quite as good as 'Labyrinth', and not entirely what I was expecting, but very good nonetheless.

Tom was in the vast majority of scenes in 'Crimson', and because of that there are once again a fairly large number of screen captures: 704 screen captures to be precise. The source video for these captures was a little more fuzzy than normal, so some of the captures aren't quite as crisp as they would usually be, but I think most of them are fine.

Enjoy - particularly the images on pages 15-17!

Trailer & Directors Cut For 'Trespass'

Fri February 2nd 2007 @ 10:50PM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments

Once again with thanks to Steve, here is the short trailer for next week's Smallville episode, 'Trespass'.

In addition, the CW Video Hub has a two-part Directors Cut for the episode, which you can download here; I've edited the two parts together into one video.

Tonight On Smallville: 'Crimson'

Thu February 1st 2007 @ 9:12PM - James - Tom Welling - 8 Comments

Tonight's brand new episode of Smallville, appropriately named 'Crimson', sees the return of a character who appears to be loved and hated in equal measure by fans of the show; however, I for one am looking forward to seeing this character (hint: it's not technically a different character at all, but for all intents and purpose it may as well be one) again. After last week's incredible episode, I really hope 'Crimson' – and particularly Tom – will deliver!

As it's still a few hours until 'Crimson' airs, here are a few things to pass the time a little more quickly: a Directors Cut for the episode from the CW Network; the normal and extended episode trailers, with huge thanks to Steve; a number of episode stills; the CW Network's official 'Crimson' description; finally, and not entirely 'Crimson' related, Al Gough answers our burning questions over at TV Guide.

Once the episode is over, please leave your comments in the forum or down in the comments.
