Is this Tom's official website?

No. Wow, that was easy. TomWelling.org is a 100% unofficial fan site; it is not endorsed by Tom, his family, his friends, publicists or agents, or anyone else whom I could possibly name here. Tom does not have an official site at the moment, and I'm unaware of any plans for the creation of one.

I'll definitely entertain the notion of making TomWelling.org Tom's official website if the offer is put to me, though somehow I can't see it happening. Nonetheless, I live in hope with my toes crossed.

Can I contact Tom through this site?

Probably not. I say probably because the quirks of time and space have sometimes been known to do odd things. I suppose there's a teeny tiny chance that an email sent to me may one one day end up in Tom's inbox instead of mine ... but to be completely blunt, it's not worth your time to try.

I have no official contact with Tom or his publicists, and I cannot get your messages to him. Really, I can't. Nor do I know his email address, phone number, home address, cell/mobile number, post office box, car registration, or social security number. And even if I did, would anyone really expect me to share that kind of information? Please, just think about it before wasting both my time and your own.

How tall is Tom?

Tom's official biographical statistics state that he is approximately 6'3", or 1.90m; in Tom's modelling statistics his height was usually listed as 6'2". Unofficially he may as well be a giant.

Is Tom really married?

Yes, he is. Tom married his beautiful wife, Jamie, in a ceremony held on Martha's Vineyard, on July 5th, 2002. Please don't ask me any other questions about their marriage; it's really none of my business.

Does Tom ever visit this site?

Not that I'm aware of, although it's entirely possible that he may have visited on occasion without my knowledge. I really can't give a definitive answer on this one, however it is extremely unlikely.

Where can I buy the clothes Tom was wearing on ... ?

Due to the fact that I'm not, and never have been a personal shopping service, I have absolutely no idea. Google searches usually work quite well for this type of query.

Did I see Tom in an advertisement for FCUK?

Probably not; this advertisement from the Summer of 2003 caused some confusion as the male model resembles Tom, however it isn't him. It's possible that you may have seen Tom in advertisements for some other products, but I can't tell you for sure without seeing the advertisement for myself.

How old was Tom when he began modelling?

The usual age given for Tom's "discovery" by a model scout, even by Tom himself, is 21. However, Tom's first modelling job was for the Christmas 1997 edition of Abercrombie & Fitch Quarterly; since Tom was born in 1977, he couldn't have been any more than 20 years of age when the shoot took place. Unless he's a year older than he claims to be, Tom wouldn't have turned 21 until 1998.

There is even some evidence to suggest that Tom may have been only 19 when he was first spotted! Tom has mentioned that he was spotted while vacationing during the early Spring, and since he wouldn't have turned 20 until April 26th there's a possibility that he was still a teenager at the time.
